ACKNOWLEDGMENT - Participating in Islander Scholars means that the principal/school will:
1 - Select one junior to be honored as an Islander Scholar based on the HĀ criteria
2 - Notify Islander Institute of your selection by February 28, 2017
3 - Recognize the chosen Islander Scholar at your school on March 17, 2017
4 - Meet with Islander Institute and the Islander Scholar once between April and May 2017
5 - Act as a liaison between your Islander Scholar and Islander Institute, which may include communication with family members and logistics planning
